The operation seized more than 6 tons of cocaine base and precursor chemicals in one of the largest lab busts of the year.
Colombian security forces destroyed a large cocaine processing complex hidden in the Pacific jungle, officials announced.
The facility reportedly produced more than 6 tons of cocaine base paste per month and used advanced drying and pressing equipment.
Authorities seized precursor chemicals, generators, and weapons, and detained several workers at the site.
The raid is part of a broader effort to target industrial-scale labs that supply transnational trafficking networks.
